In 2014, Made Public teamed up with The Brewery, Romford and The Queens Theatre, Hornchurch to host Romford’s very first performance festival. The festival included stunning performances from high-profile names such as The Voice soul singer Trevor Francis and BBC poet Mab Jones. Made Public also worked to highlight and support up-and-coming local talent such as gospel singer Rebecca Amissah and Rainham based director Amy Insole.

The Pie Eyed Performance festival played host to a large variety of acts and proudly supported a diverse mix of entertainment that was enjoyed by local residents and those visiting from further afield. Over the course of three weeks, the visitors to the Pie Eyed Performance Festival enjoyed pieces such as acoustic evenings, an evening of spoken word and gospel performances.
